Physical and chemical properties:
1) Appearance: colorless crystals;
2) Melting point: 200+-20;
3) V.p.: negligible;
4) Solubility:a) In water: 1.2% ; b) Insoluble in common organic solvents, acetone, ethahol and xylene. Its alkali metal and amine salts are readily soluble in water;
5) Stability: Glyphosate and all its salts are non-volatile, do not photo-chemicaliy degrade and are stable in air. It is strongly absorbed by soil. Solutions are corrosive to iron and galvanized steel.
